My name is Stephanie Phonvongsa. I am a second-year at University of California, San Diego. I am an International-Studies major with an emphasis on Literature and I am also considering going pre-med. I am involved with the Marshall Activities Committee, the UCSD Gospel Choir, and also a member of UCSD FBLA-Phi Beta Lambda. This year I hope to become more involved in the UCSD and San Diego community by joining Marshall Student Council and becoming a tutor for a nearby underprivileged middle school. At the moment, I am not completely set on what I want to do, but I do know that I want to continue to try to be a better person by giving back to my community and always putting morals over personal gain. Thank you Berkeley Community Fund for providing me the opportunity to experience new places, new people and a new outlook on life.
